Wellbeing

Meals on Wheels services across the country play an essential role in early intervention health prevention.

If you would like to stay living at home for longer, our wellbeing checks, performed by Meals on Wheels volunteers at every delivery provide much-needed peace-of-mind to your loved ones.  For example, at every visit Meals on Wheels volunteers will check-in on how you are doing and if you do not seem yourself or require medical assistance, our volunteers are trained to seek help.

Through ensuring the wellbeing and safety of older Australians, our essential service is proven to reduce the risk of falls and hospitalisations.

Staying healthy, strong and connected with your community, supports your desire to stay living independently in your own home.

At Meals on Wheels, our 592 services across the country enable you to get the most out of life and live and age well. After all, that’s our mission!
