After more than 12 years of servicing Meals on Wheels organisations, Polixen is the most widely used Meals on Wheels software in Australia and we continue to invest heavily in improving our product and keep up with industry changes.

We understand the last 18 months have been challenging with department restructures, delays and policy reversals creating uncertainty for many services. Polixen has tried to stay ahead of the changes where possible supporting our clients with reporting changes, practical advice and customer service to ensure they remain compliant and informed with as little downtime as possible.

This year we’re excited to launch our brand new Online Ordering Website. Fully integrated with the core Polixen system, this beautifully designed platform complements your organisation while streamlining operations in ways not previously possible. It allows clients and their families to have greater independence empowering them to create and manage their own orders, track meals and monitor their account with ease.

We’re also introducing the new Polixen Meals on Wheels App. Designed to support recent department changes and modern service delivery, the app puts every aspect of meal delivery directly into volunteers’ hands. With turn by turn navigation, meal and client information, delivery time and social engagement time recording, all reporting back to the main system. The app significantly reduces paperwork and saves valuable time. We see it becoming a crucial part of day-to-day operations for Meals on Wheels services across Australia.
